Kerygma and EVS
Kerygma: It is the ardent, testimonial and joyful proclamation of Jesus dead and risen; it seeks to awaken initial faith and must always precede formation.
Catechesis: It is the ordered, solid and progressive teaching of the doctrine of faith, which consolidates the kerygmatic proclamation.
All Christian formation is, at its core, a constant deepening of the kerygma, which should never be abandoned.
"Joyful news that can rescue you from the slavery of sin and give you a new life"
It is the foundational experience of evangelization in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal to foster a real encounter with Jesus Christ.
Its culmination is the "Baptism in the Holy Spirit," a grace that transforms life, revives the sacraments, and equips the person with charisms for mission.
📖 THE KERYGMATIC CONTENT (SVE)
It covers seven experiential themes designed to move the evangelized person to experience faith: The love of God, sin, salvation in Jesus, faith and conversion, the lordship of Jesus, the Holy Spirit and new life.
It seeks to help the person recognize themselves as a sinner before God in order to experience His free forgiveness.
